Description

The RWRB wireline-set retrievable bridge plug is a medium-performance isolation tool deployed and set via a wireline pressure setting tool, and can be retrieved using either tubing or sandline. It is designed for applications such as zone isolation, formation fracturing, acidizing, and wellhead repair, and can be run in or pulled out of the well under pressure with lubrication—removing the need for snubbing tubing or well killing operations. A balanced equalizing valve is positioned directly above the packing element system, while caged, bi-directional one-piece slips sit below the packing to firmly anchor the plug against pressure differentials from either direction. Retrieval is accomplished by ratcheting onto the retrieving neck, lifting four inches to equalize pressure, setting down to engage the uplock, and then lifting to extract the plug from the well, with no rotational action required for retrieval.
