RAD-1 TENSION PACKERS
Description
RAD-1 Tension Packer is a retrievable, tension set packer, designed to hold pressure from below. This economical tension packer is for shallow wells where sufficient set down weight is not available to utilize a set down packer. This packer can be used in water flood, oil production or treating applications. They are available for 4” through 13 3/8” casing.
Features
• Enables secure setting in casing of any hardness (including premium-grade steel) via its rocker-type slips, and supports three distinct release approaches: standard release, shear release, and detachment via a safety joint connection
• Boasts a compact, short-form footprint that simplifies transportation to well sites and streamlined deployment downhole
• Features a bore diameter exceeding the tubing drift size and incorporates intuitive J-Slot control for straightforward operational handling, paired with a single-piece packing element for reliable sealing
• Offers component interchangeability with parts from other manufacturers, enhancing logistical flexibility and reducing replacement part lead times
