Pressure Release Device
Description
Engineered for perforating gun disengagement, this device activates when a steel ball is dropped from the wellhead onto its release sleeve. Applying tubing pressure then fractures the internal shear pins, causing the release sleeve to shift downward, retract the bottom sub’s locking fingers, and disengage the bottom sub along with all attached components.
